First, your new design is much easier! Thank you.

And as for Marc Freden's videos...I've done a lot of research on videos, and of course no one has the secret to making one go viral. But I do have some info to share. First, they're very long. I released this http://bit.ly/exsSWY video for my picture book, Little Chicken's Big Day just two days ago and it's way beyond my highest expectations at almost 700 views. I think one reason is I kept it under 1 minute.

I also did a lot of research on keywords and maybe he could've done more on that - as well as the title - using keywords in the title helps a LOT.

Humor is so subjective, so though his concept is good, especially integrating his title in the video - loved how he did that - expecting it to go viral based on humor might not be realistic.

My biggest suggestion would be to tighten it up to a minute or under! Also, check out this podcast on Secrets to a Great Book Trailer, and maybe it'll help! http://katiedavis.com/blog/podcast/2011/04/podcast-38-secrets-to-a-great-book-trailer/
